Dr. Oz Halabi is a highly experienced tax attorney engaging primarily in U.S. domestic, Israel and international tax and compliance matters arising in relocation, mergers and acquisitions, investment funds, venture investments and bankruptcy.

 

Oz is one of the architectures and the drafters of the legislation in Israel, entered into force in 2007, which provides immigrants (Olim Hadashim) and returning residents tax and filing exemptions in Israel.

 

In his role as the chair of the international tax division, Oz worked with many individuals around the world, to assist them in complying with the requirements of the law enabling them to utilize the benefits, to its full extant, while taking into consideration the Israeli tax law, the foreign tax law and the relevant tax treaty.

 

Currently, Oz serves as an expert witness in several cases related to the tax exemption law.
